Notes:
Born and raised in Whitewood, Saskatchewan, Yvonne Kydd calls upon her first-hand knowledge of rural life to depict her prairie landscape paintings. Since 1981, Yvonne has painted the beauty she sees in abandoned homesteads, historic buildings, and small towns set against the changing prairie sky. This style has earned her much respect in the art community and has made her one of Saskatchewan's most sought-after artists of prairie landscape and historical structures. Yvonne was commissioned by the Saskatchewan Government to do a pen and ink collage of eight historical Land Titles Buildings located within the province. Other successful projects for the artist were the Davin School, Balfour Collegiate, Campion College, Marian High School and beautiful Knox Metropolitan United Church.
