Yvette Moore was born and raised in Radville, Saskatchewan and moved to Moose Jaw in 1986 where she earned a Diploma in Architectural Engineering Technology and went to work in that field. After one year, with the successful release of her first Limited Edition print, she turned to art as a full-time career. She was the illustrator for the children's book "A Prairie Alphabet" for which she won the 'Mr. Christie's Award' for Best Illustration for Children's Literature in Canada. This book was later followed by "A Prairie Year" and "Heartland - A Prairie Sampler". She also runs a successful gallery/restaurant/country store in Moose Jaw.
