Tim Isaac was born in Winkler, Manitoba in 1962, and studied at the University of Manitoba (Winnipeg) where he began working in clay, and the University of Waterloo (Ontario). His ceramic work tends to focus on 'primitive' firing techniques, working directly with smoke and fire. Tim Isaac now lives near New Brunswick's Bay of Fundy.
