From the University of Regina, President's Art Collection, Shumiatcher Donation. Collection of Dr. Morris C. Shumiatcher, O.C., S.O.M., Q.C. and Dr. Jacqui Clay Shumiatcher, O.C., S.O.M. Handwritten and signed dedication on backing: 'To Jacqui and Morris Shumiatcher. Thank you very much. I do hope you will enjoy this painting. The concept is from Four Mile Lake Ont., the Kawarthas'. The piece was examined out of its frame to confirm that it is an original painting, not the well-known print which is derived from this original painting.
