Notes:
Suzanne Dansereau was born in Zenon Park, Saskatchewan. While living in Saskatoon, she was inspired by the big prairie skies. She studied art at local community classes and workshops, as well as Emma Lake Art Camp. Her more recent work utilizes the application of French dyes to silk, which she uses for its ability to capture the light of the prairie landscapes. She moved to the Shuswap with her husband in 1994, where she paints daily from her studio overlooking the lake. Suzanne Dansereau is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, Central Okanagan Chapter of F.C.A and Brushstrokes Club of West Kelowna.
