From the University of Regina, President's Art Collection, Shumiatcher Donation. Collection of Dr. Morris C. Shumiatcher, O.C., S.O.M., Q.C. and Dr. Jacqui Clay Shumiatcher, O.C., S.O.M. This painting is illustrated on page 86 of the book Treasured Moments, by John and Monica Kurtz, in 1997. A copy of the book in included with this painting.

Suzanne D'Amato was born in Ontario, and moved to Regina as an art curator for Crown Life Insurance Company when their headquarters moved to the city in 1992.
