Provenance:
Monte Clark Gallery, Vancouver, B.C.

Notes:
Stephen Waddell, the 2019 winner of the prestigious Scotiabank Photography award, is

known for his evocative investigations of the urban world. His photographs feature a distinctive

sense of space and scale, not to mention an attentiveness to framing and composition that

recalls devices more commonly found in historical painting. Photographs like the Coal Handler

encapsulate the dynamism and alienation that characterize modern city life.

His works are included in the permanent collections of the Armand Hammer Collection in Los Angeles, the Vancouver Art Gallery and the National Gallery of Canada.
Most realised prices include the Buyer's Premium of 18-25%, but not the HST/GST Tax.
