This artwork includes a 1998 certificate of appraisal from PC Consulting (Toronto) with a fair market evaluation of $2,900, and a 1998 appraisal from Steven Jack Photography (Toronto) for $2,400.
Notes:
Stephen Livick was born in 1945 in Castleford, England, and grew up in Montreal, Quebec. He devoted many decades of his life to still photography, and his work is often compared to that of American photographer Diane Arbus. Livick's work is held in public collections around the world, including the National Gallery of Canada, Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography (Ottawa), Art Gallery of Ontario (Toronto), the Museum of Modern Art (New York), Baltimore Museum of Art, the Carnegie Museum of Art (Pittsburgh) and the Harvard Art Museums (Cambridge MA).
