ARTIST STATEMENT

My work is about transition and change within all of us. We change like the season, and our paths could turn and twist to new directions. There are opportunities and chances to take and decisions to be made, and there are ways to be lost on a certain road that we focus on as we change over time. Loosely painted in thick, heavy acrylic colours, I translated the meaning of change and transition into swirls of texture, marking every single road that we step on and connect as one within the world. As I applied the paint on the canvas to mark the abstract roads, it developed over time into a blur, signifying the unification of what we could become and change in due time.
Most realised prices include the Buyer's Premium of 18-25%, but not the HST/GST Tax.
