Sister Patricia Flynn was born in 1942 in Hamilton, Scotland. He came to Canada in 1965, and in 1967 joined the Sisters of Service. She earned a Bachelor of Education degree at the University of Regina, and taught in elementary schools in several Alberta and Ontario communities. She completed a graduate degree in art therapy in 2005. Sister Patricia Flynn died in January, 2023, in Toronto.
