Description: Shoji Hamada, Japanese (1894-1978), A stoneware bottle vase, of rectangular form with the top section covered in an ash coloured matt glaze, the lower section with a mottled green height: 7 3/4 in. (19.5 cm) Purchased from the artist's studio by Myrtle Erickson in 1970, thence bequeathed to Donald Erickson (brother of Arthur Erickson).
