In 2003 Shelley Hilliard traveled through South East Asia exploring the land, food, fashion and cultures and it was at this time she determined to develop her own jewelry brand. Hilliard Jewelry was launched in 2008. The company was closed in 2014 as Hilliard was given the the opportunity to create a line of jewelry for new company Kit and Ace.
