From the Briercrest College Art Collection. 100% of the hammer price goes to the Briercrest College Scholarship Fund. This artwork has a 1998 certificate of appraisal with a fair market evaluation of $800.
Notes:
Sheila Maki was born in 1932. She is best known for her densely layered prints and mixed-media works. She has exhibited in in many countries of Asia and Europe in addition to many group and solo shows in Canada and the U.S., including the World Print Shows in California and the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. She currently resides in Toronto.
