Notes:
Shawn Serfas was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Saskatchewan (Saskatoon) and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Alberta (Edmonton). His work has been exhibited widely across Canada, including Pentiction Art Gallery, Vernon Art Gallery, Godfrey Dean Art Gallery (Regina), SOPA Fine Arts (Kelowna, BC), Bugbear Matheson Gallery (Edmonton) and Gallery MX (Montreal). Shawn Serfas is an Associate Professor in the Visual Arts Department at the University of British Columbia and currently resides in the Okanagan region of British Columbia.
