Lot description - from the online catalogue*
“Bright green with pink and yellow inlay much like colours of a jewel. Depicted is the use of the shaman's special powers to transform into a mixture of human and animal forms. In the past, in Inuit society, the shaman was looked upon as someone who communicated with spirits and was very smart, playing a role in resolving various issues. The use of these bright colours tell the story of the shaman's mysterious powers.”
