Includes original Lit'l Bears Gallery (Yellowknife) label indicating a price of $200, and a Northwest Territories Arts label.
Notes:
Ronald Taylor was born in 1967 in Inuvik, Northwest Territories, of Inuit and Dene ancestry. He was raised in Tuktoyaktuk, and grew up traveling with his family in the surrounding countryside to hunt and fish. Ron Taylor's father was also an artist, and he grew up carving in antler, whalebone and soapstone. He studied with Freddy Iyak, David Rueben and Bill Nasogaluak, and as an adult Taylor works mostly in soapstone, antler, bone and ivory.
