Rick Pilling grew up in various small towns throughout Saskatchewan, and entered the Bachelor of Fine Arts program of the University of Saskatchewan (Saskatoon) in 1996, graduating in 2000. He spent much of the next several years traveling in the Middle East and Europe, devoting himself to art making upon settling back in Saskatchewan. He graduated from the Master's program at the University of Saskatchewan in 2008.
Most realised prices include the Buyer's Premium of 18-25%, but not the HST/GST Tax.
