Notes:
In 1853, the British born Rev. Vincent Clementi, sailed from London and travelled to New York. Appointed a land surveyor in 1858, he continued on to Peterborough, Ontario where he settled in Lakefield in 1863. There, he supervised the building of the new church and served as St. John the Baptist Church's first priest. He had two sons - Mutius and Theodore. Both their names are inscribed in the partial typed label verso backing.
