Ralph Wallace Burton was a student under A.Y. Jackson at the Banff School of Fine Arts and they later became friendly painting companions. Over a period of approximately 20 years, Burton and Jackson travelled through various provinces, painting the many regions they visited. Jackson's painterly influence is evident in this fine work and lot xxx.
