Notes:
Ralph J. McDonald studied at the Harris School of Advertising Art in Nashville, Tennessee, specializing in Illustration. After working in advertising and book illustration for some years, McDonald turned his attention to painting nature and wildlife. McDonald was twice named International Artist of the Year by Ducks Unlimited.
