Notes:
Pieter van Gunst was born in Amsterdam in 1658/9. He was a draughtsman and etcher/engraver as well as an art dealer. He worked mostly in Amsterdam, and died in Amsterdam in 1731. His works can be found in many permanent collections including the Rijksmuseum (Amsterdam), British Museum (London) and the National Portrait Gallery (London).
