From the collection of Regina art collector Lyn Goldman. Being offered to benefit Creative Kids, with 90% of the winning bid going to this Saskatchewan charity.
Notes:
SKNAC bio: Pat Grayston was born in 1942 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. After retiring from a career as a high school teacher, she pursued art, attending the University of Saskatchewan and receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2003. Grayston also travelled to Australia for a year and studied art there. Working in pottery, painting, and printmaking, Grayston maintains a studio in northern Saskatchewan called Riverview Arts. From there, she creates her own works and teaches classes. Grayston has also taught art at Shellbrook High School and the Prince Albert Art Centre. Grayston is a juried member of the Saskatchewan Craft Council. She is also involved with CARFAC and with Prince Albert's Mann Art Gallery, of which she is Chairperson. Pat Grayston lives in Shellbrook, Saskatchewan.
