Paige Mortensen is an artist working with watercolour batik. She took folk art painting classes in the early 2000s and then enrolled at USCAD (University of Saskatchewan's Certificate in Art and Design) in 2011.The watercolour batik method involves building layers of transparent colour and wax on homemade paper.Paige Mortensen is a member of the Saskatchewan Craft Council, CARFAC and The Artists' Workshop Group.
