Owen Wexler spent his early days in New York City and graduated from the City College of New York with a Bachelors of Fine Arts. He went on to study at the Art Institute of Chicago where he earned a Masters of Fine Arts with a concentration in painting and drawing. On returning to New York he soon took up painting as a full-time profession.
