Being offered on behalf of Indigenous Christian Fellowship, with 90% of the winning bid going to this Saskatchewan charity.
Notes:
John David Epp was born 1923 in Southhampton, England and immigrated to Canada as a child. His family settled in central Saskatchewan, and Epp moved to Melfort in 1967. His father, Jacob Epp, had trained as an artist in Europe, John David Epp was raised in a culturally rich environment, filled with art and music. As a child, Epp received some instruction from his father but received no other formal training. Around 1970, John David Epp began devoting himself to art making, around that time moved to northern Saskatchewan and began to exhibit his art throughout Saskatchewan. In the mid 1970s Epp took a position as a visiting instructor for Carlton Trail Community College (Southey, Saskatchewan).
