Ceramic, 12.25 x 13.5 x 12 in, 31.1 x 34.3 x 30.5 cm Signed in syllabics and with disc no.
This is an important example of Rankin Inlet sculptural ceramic art, from the original project managed by Claude Grenier. It is similar in conception to a head by Robert Tatty from the Robertson Collection, offered at Walker's November 2011 sale (Lot 105). Visible in this photo are a winged wolf and two hawks; at the back are two seals and two snakes(?).
