Nils Udo is a German artist born in 1937. Early in his career he painted in the traditional manner, but on moving back to his home state of Bavaria he began to create environmental art and to work with, and in, nature. His work varies between planned installations that are allowed to deteriorate naturally over time, and the creation of works using found materials from nature.
