Murray Stewart was born in Toronto, Ontario, in 1919. He practiced watercolour and oil painting throughout his career, and travelled widely across Canada and international to depict landscapes in both mediums. His work was exhibited throughout Canada and internationally. Murray Steward died in 2006, in Toronto.
