In the early years of the new century Michael Adamson's (b.1971) desire to paint abstracted landscapes met with his growing interest in full abstraction; Wild Pony Pass (2005) evidences this. Elements of the natural environment, painted with his signature palette are fused with elements of the abstract - grid patterns and blocks of pure pigment - which underlie the rich swaths of colour.
