Notes:
SKNAC Bio: Melanie Monique Rose was raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, and studied Craft & Design with a major in the Fibre Arts at The Kootenay School of the Arts (Nelson, British Columbia). She then returned to Regina, where she has been an instructor with the Neil Balkwill Centre, Regina Catholic Schools, Regina Public Board of Education, The MacKenzie Art Gallery, and Creative City Centre. Melanie Monique Rose has exhibited in group exhibitions throughout Canada, including Mysteria Gallery (Regina), MacKenzie Art Gallery. (Regina), Dimensions Touring Exhibition (Saskatchewan) and she is a long-time contributing member of Sakewewak Artists' Collective (Regina). While working in several mediums, Melanie Monique Rose specializes in using felting techniques to explore her Metis and Ukrainian heritage. In 2019 Melanie Monique Rose received a Saskatchewan Foundation for the Arts Endowment Award. She continues to live and work in Regina, Saskatchewan.
