Marian Komacek was born in 1959 in Gbeloch, Slovakia. He studied in the department of Graphic Art and Book Illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts (Bratislava) from 1980-1986. Komacek's paintings and prints have been exhibited widely in Europe.
