Mia Farrow, as a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF, has visited Sudan several times to highlight the need for international aid to war-torn Darfur. She is a board member of the Washington, D.C. based non-profit Darfur Women Action Group (DWAG) and has received several awards for her humanitarian work.
