Marge Berry (nee Collier) was born in 1919. She was one of the first teachers of Children's Art Classes at the Mendel Art Gallery in Saskatoon in the 1960s. In the 1940s and 50s she worked under the tutelage of Ernest Linder, while also working as one of his figure models. It was at these classes that she met her future husband, George J. Berry. Throughout their lives together the Berrys continued their art endeavours. Marge Berry sold extensively in North America but also has some pieces in Europe. In Saskatoon she had shows at Calories Gallery and also Dennis Evans Gallery. She also generously donated many of her works to art auctions around the city of Saskatoon to raise funds for different hospital projects.
