Marcin Mikolajczak was born in 1975, in Poland, and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan. While based in London, England, Mikolajczak become an expert art conservator and framer, before turning his full attention to his own art making, specializing in atypical application of colour and light, and multiple individual layers of paint applied with technical excellence. His works can be found in private and public collections worldwide, including the USA, the UK, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Australia.
