Bequeathed by F.W.G. Fitzgerald to the Art Gallery of Ontario on October 19, 1949 as an "Unknown/ 19th Century French School" artist (it is not an "oil on canvas" as stated on the AGO label verso but an oil on cradled panel);
Collection of the Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto, ON, Accession no. 49/19 to gallery labels verso;
Deaccessioned from the collection of the Art Gallery of Ontario to benefit art purchases at the AGO
