Provenance:
From the estate of Rick Harvey (1941-2021), professor in the English Department of the University of Regina for 40 years, whose art collection focused on Saskatchewan paintings and ceramics, often from artists he knew personally.
Notes:
Louise Roy studied physiotherapy at University Laval, Quebec City in the late 1960s and before moving to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to work at Saskatoon City Hospital. Later, she operated Tree Pottery Supplies, in Saskatoon, for 38 years, while taking classes at the University of Saskatchewan with Eli Bernstein and Stanley Day, and workshops with Alicia Popoff, Clint Hunker, Iris Hauser and Ward Schell.
Most realised prices include the Buyer's Premium of 18-25%, but not the HST/GST Tax.
