"An early interest in Japanese culture led to an appreciation of how fine details contribute to a story. Sixteen years of studying flying trapeze in the Toronto cirque community changed my perspective of the world. For me, it was a natural progression from 30 years of written communications to visual storytelling through photography. My camera has become both a brush and a pen, allowing me to tell the stories I see in my viewfinder."
