Lisa Loewen was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and moved to Regina, Saskatchewan in 1997. She studied at Concordia University (Montreal) and completed a BFA in painting and drawing from the University of Regina in 2007. She works in painting, drawing, photography and murals, and is also a tattoo artist. Her personal work often explores issues around motherhood, evolution and instinct. Lisa Loewen lives and works in Regina, Saskatchewan.
