Notes:
SKNAC bio: Levine Flexhaug was born in 1918, in Climax Saskatchewan. He spent his early career in Saskatchewan and Alberta, moving to Bridesville BC in 1955, and then to Fairmont Hot Springs in 1962 (where his wife Peggy was a chef at the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort). Levine Flexhaug died in August, 1974, in Invermere, British Columbia. In 2015-2016 the Mackenzie Art Gallery (Regina) and Art Gallery of Grand Prairie (Alberta) presented a sweeping retrospective 'A Sublime Vernacular - The Landscape Paintings of Levine Flexhaug'.
