LARGE ITALIAN RENAISSANCE STYLE CHESS SET
A large chess set with gilt and silvered metal playing pieces in a Florentine Renaissance style. The chess board supported by four horses, the base with figural decoration. The checkered chess board with inlaid green variegated onyx and a white stone, possibly onyx or quartz. In the manner of Giuseppe Vasari (Italian, 1934-2005).
