Kevin Wesaquate is a Dakota Cree artist from the Piapot First Nation, in Southern Saskatchewan. He is an artist of the spoken word and visual arts, and founder of the Indigenous Poets Society, in Saskatoon. Wesaquate has been Artist/Writer in Residence at Saskatoon Polytechnic Campus and Aboriginal Arts Leader at SCYAP. He lives in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
