Ken Gillespie was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, in 1948. He spent much of his early life in Calgary, Alberta, before moving to the Okanagan region of British Columbia in 2000. Gillspie has held over forty solo exhibitions across Canada, and his work can be found in many important private, public and corporate collections, including the Alberta Foundation for the Arts and the Hyatt Regency (Calgary). He is a senior signature member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Ken Gillespie currently lives and works in Peachland, British Columbia.
