ARTIST STATEMENT
Why does the future have to be apocalyptic? From the balanced, centred equilibrium of the prairie we can look backwards to when the suburb existed, and forward to times beyond our conception.
Gradual changes over centuries are condensed into 24 discrete bands, a periodicity that is within our comprehension. The uncomfortable is rendered comfortable - or is it?
