Being sold on behalf of the Cathedral Village Arts Festival, with 90% of the winning bid going to this Saskatchewan charity.
Notes:
John Robert MacFarlane was born in Regina, Saskatchewan in 1936, and grew up in Weyburn. He acquired degrees in Arts and Education from University of Alberta (Edmonton) and taught high school English, first at Western Canada High School (Calgary, Alberta) then for 27 years at Sheldon Williams Collegiate in Regina. Upon retirement he turned his attention more fully to watercolour painting, and his works can be found in many private and corporate collections. John Robert MacFarlane died in June 2022 in Regina.
