Notes:
Toronto-based photographer John Bladen Bentley uses an antique 8x10 Deardorff large format camera to capture his subject. He develops his photographs using a time-consuming colour carbon transfer process, taking five days to produce one print, which lends a richness in colour and permanency. Silvershotz, in which this photographic image is cited, is a contemporary photography portfolio magazine showcasing the best photographic images from around the world.
