From the Gary Robertson Historical Print Collection (Regina). This print can be found in many important collections including the British Museum (London, UK), Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York) and the Victoria and Albert Museum (London).
Notes:
Johannes Wierix was born in 1549 in Antwerp, Belgium. He became an accomplished engraver of his own designs as well as the designs of other artists. By 1601 Wierix had moved to Brussels, where he died around 1620.
