Notes:
Joanne (Rattray) Emery is an Alberta artist who became interested in art making at an early age. When she was fourteen she joined the Barrhead Art Club (central Alberta) where she was instructed by Margaret Nadeau. Over the next four decades Emery has worked mostly in painting, specializing in landscape and rural scenes.
