Jesse MacDonald was born in Watson, Saskatchewan. He graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Drawing. He has since been awarded the BMO 1st ART! award in 2007 for emerging young artists from Saskatchewan, and has exhibited his work in the Mackenzie Art Gallery, and the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art in Toronto. MacDonald is currently living and working in Regina.
