SKNAC bio: Jeffrey Bluesky Crowe was born in Preeceville, Saskatchewan in 1974, and is from the Yellow Quill First Nation. He started painting at an early age, and in 1987 he won a Canada-wide competition sponsored by the Peace Hills Trust in Edmonton, Alberta. Crowe created several murals in Saskatchewan, and experimented with several styles of art, but traditional Indigenous images are a key part of his work. His work can be found in many private and corporate art collections throughout Canada. Jeffrey Bluesky Crowe died in December 2021.
