First Limited Edition, one of 2500 signed copies, signed by both artist and author on both the limitations page and on the inner cover of the clamshell box.
Clamshell box jacket. Folio measures 12 x 15 in.
Part I includes text by Michener, illustrated by Levine's woodcuts, plus four lithographs; Part II contains Levine's sketchbook with 54 pochoir and phototype process reproductions of Levine's watercolors, gouaches and drawings, finished by hand, and housed in a goatskin leather portfolio. Both parts are housed in a pale pink moire silk clamshell box, measuring about 13 in. x 20 in., with goatskin closure.
Most realised prices include the Buyer's Premium of 18-25%, but not the HST/GST Tax.
